SEI Ranks No. 33 in Computer Hardware Industry on the 2012 Inc. 500/5000
August 31, 2012 - Grand Rapids, MI - For the sixth consecutive year, Service Express, Inc. (SEI) has been named to Inc. Magazine's Inc. magazine's sixth annual Inc. 500/5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. SEI specializes in flexible on-site data center maintenance for mainframe, midrange and Intel-based servers. The list represents the most comprehensive look at America’s independent entrepreneurs.
The 2012 Inc. 5000 designation is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2008 – 2011. Since 2008, SEI has added 38 new corporate positions in Grand Rapids and 60 new positions in the regional offices. In July, the 200 employee mark was reached while being on target to add another 50 employees in the the next six months. Looking forward into 2013, SEI projects to grow their corporate wide employee base by another 25%. SEI has also expanded into new markets with 14 new regional offices in Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Missouri, Florida and North Carolina since 2007. Today, there are 24 SEI offices in twelve states.

Criteria for the Inc. 500/5000 include; companies be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies as of December 31, 2011. The companies will be featured in Inc’s September issue at www.inc.com.
